Dover Federal Credit Union Welcomes New Associate Board Member
April 25, 2012 - Dover Federal Credit Union is pleased to welcome James M. DiDonato to its Board of Directors in the position of Associate Board Member. As an Associate Member, Mr. DiDonato will have the opportunity to join the existing Board in its mission to guide the course of the credit union and to ensure its continued success and the well being of its many members.
Mr. DiDonato has extensive experience in the financial services industry, and has worked for more than a decade as Manager of Banking Services with the Delaware State Treasury. He also serves as Delaware's sole Selective Service Officer with the Delaware Army National Guard. "It's an honor to be chosen to serve on Dover Federal's Board," Mr. DiDonato said. "I am truly excited about this opportunity to help further the interests of Dover Federal members, and of the Delaware financial community in general." He has been an active member of Dover Federal since 1976.
Mr. DiDonato holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Penn State University and a master's degree in Business Administration from Wilmington University. A 25-year resident of the Dover area, he is active with several local organizations, including the Boy Scouts of America, the First State Chapter of the U.S. Army Warrant Officer Association, the Downstate Delaware Striders and Riders, and Hockey North America (Harrington Centre Ice Rink).
