The Christmas Club Account at Dover Federal is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3:
- Visit one of our friendly Member Service Officers to open your Christmas Club Account (Come by anytime during the year!) Just $5.00 will get you on your way!
- Determine how much money you would like to save by dividing the amount you would like to save by how many paydays there are between your start date and October 15th.
- Set up a direct deposit with your payroll office for that amount.
That's it!! Just sit back and relax knowing that every payday you are saving automatically and earning dividends on your account, too!
- Around October 15th, the balance (except for the $5.00) is automatically transferred to your checking account - just in time to take advantage of those Pre-Season Sales!
- Your Christmas Club Account will automatically renew! The amount you authorized will continue to be deposited to the account as you effortlessly save for another year!
- Already have direct deposit of your paycheck? No problem! Just ask your Member Service Officer to set you up with an automatic transfer!
- You can add additional funds at any time (like your tax refund, birthday check or other "unexpected" windfall!) without penalties.
- Ready to increase the amount every payday? Just stop by and we will be happy to help!
