Chaz Rzewnicki, President/CEO
With more than 15 years of diversified credit union experience, spanning across the areas of Sales, Service, Lending, Collections, Operations, Compliance, Branch and Call Center Administration, Rzewnicki most recently served in the role of Vice President of Member Services for Dover Federal before being appointed to CEO.
As a true credit union advocate, Chaz Rzewnicki began his credit union career at age 16, through his high school co-op program. By the age of 19, he was promoted to the position of Assistant Branch Manager and has continued to evolve as a strategic and demonstrated successful credit union leader. Rzewnicki implores that the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People” is not only what guides his professional life but also his personal life. As CEO, he will influence the future growth of Dover Federal, prepare for the evolvement of the financial industry as well as continually seek to improve our members’ experience.
Mr. Rzewnicki obtained his degree in Business Administration from Baker College and will earn his Master’s Degree in Strategic Leadership from Central Michigan University in Fall 2016. Rzewnicki is enrolled in the CUES CEO Institute and currently serves on the Advocacy Committee for the Credit Union Cooperative Association for DE as well as the Steering Committee for Leadership Central Delaware.
Travis Frey, Chief Innovation Officer
As CIO, Travis Frey will be instrumental in leveraging the right technology solutions that will improve the member experience, while reducing operating expenses and delivering solutions that will align and enable strategic growth and efficiency.
Mr. Frey’s proficiency as CIO is exemplified in his experience working on various CORE systems, Window servers, NCR and Nautilus Hyosung ATMS as well as with branch transformation technology. CIO Frey has executed core conversions, managed the infrastructure transformation for a successful credit union merger, led product and service conversions as well as implemented a new branch prototype using Nautlius Hyosung ATM machines with an integrated transformation solution, designed to maximize the member self-service experience. In addition, Frey has earned certifications on Disaster Recovery, Jack Henry Symitar programming, and Network Security. His passion and commitment to members are reflective in his dedication to leverage technology that allows the member to have more secure control in a digital environment, while incorporating the personal element, in order to empower the member experience.
Lynne Schaefer, Chief Commercial Officer
Lynne Schwab Schaefer joined Dover Federal Credit Union in January 2011 as Vice President of Business Services. The division provides the Delaware business community with lending and deposit options. Mrs. Schaefer brings over 20 years of diverse banking experience to her position. Her areas of expertise include commercial lending, business development, regulatory compliance, training and development, performance consulting, and investing.
Mrs. Schaefer, a 1988 graduate of Salisbury University, received her Bachelor's degree in Communications. She is currently working towards the designation of Certified Chief Executive (CCE) from the Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) CEO Institute. In addition to her diverse banking career, she is also active in the community, volunteering with the American Heart Association and participating in many charity fundraising events. Mrs. Schaefer is a past Honorary Commander with the Dover Air Force Base, Maintenance Squadron and has served with the Greater Dover Committee. In addition, she is currently a Board Member of the Downtown Dover Rotary Club and the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce. Her dedication to serve our local community and local businesses make her an invaluable asset to the leadership team and the Business Services Department.
Donna Kiscaden, Chief Financial & Risk Officer
Donna Kiscaden, has the analysis expertise and forecasting capability to successfully leverage the financial platform for the State of Delaware’s largest credit union. With more than 28 years of management experience in the financial services industry, serving most recently as Controller for Dover Federal, Ms. Kiscaden’s position as VP of Finance will allow her to evaluate and penetrate new opportunities that increase efficiency, reduce cost and leverage the $400 million in assets held by Dover Federal Credit Union. By aligning the organization’s strategic goals with the operational needs, Donna will be able to examine, analyze and develop initiatives that complement and empower each department to better help fulfill the credit union’s promise of making a positive difference in your financial life.
Ms. Kiscaden, received her BS in Accounting from Neumann University and earned her Master’s degree in Business Admin in Management from Eastern University.
Rich Mazzio, Chief Member Experience Officer
As the Chief Member Experience Officer, Rich will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of legendary service that members expect from their financial institution, while also creating an environment where members are delivered the products and services that make the most sense for their financial needs. With over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, which includes branch management, business development, commercial lending, investment services, fraud services, training, operations and call center management, he most recently served as Dover Federal’s Member Resource Director. A lifelong Delawarean, he is active in the community and understands the role a financial institution plays in helping members achieve their goals.
Mr. Mazzio attended the University of Delaware and Wilmington University, with concentrations in Business Management and Management Information Systems.
Holly Aragon ,VP, Culture & Development
With more than 15 years of experience in Management and Human Services, Holly brings a wealth of experience and expertise in payroll, benefits and most importantly, employee relations. Upon receiving a B.A. from Salisbury University, she worked in Human Resources for the disability field for 10 years, before joining corporate training and HR at Dover Federal. Within her role, she will provide oversight, direction, advocacy and leadership that provides a positive work environment for Dover Federal Team Members.
