Health Insurance
Team members working full-time in a non-seasonal or non-temporary capacity are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage effective the first of the month following 60 days of continuous employment. Dover Federal Credit Union covers 90% of the medical premium for individual coverage and 81% of the premium for coverage that includes dependents.
Group Life & Disability
Full-time team members become eligible after 90 days of employment for life insurance coverage equal to two times their annual salary, up to $300,000, including both Life and AD&D coverage. Group short-term disability coverage is also provided.
Retirement Plan

Through our 401(k) Safe Harbor Plan, eligible team members may begin making pretax contributions after 6 months of employment, while DFCU contributes 5% of your compensation, regardless of your personal contribution.

Eligible team members begin accruing PTO from their first day of employment, with time off increasing as your career grows with us:

- 1 Year Service: 22 days

- 10 Years Service: 31 days
- 15 Years Service: 32 days
- 20 Years Service: 36 days
Educational Assistance
We are proud to support your development—full-time team members may receive up to $5,000 annually to help cover eligible education expenses.
Flexible Spending Account
All Dover Federal Credit Union team members can take advantage of a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), which allows you to use pretax dollars to pay for eligible out of pocket medical, dental, and vision expenses, as well as child and dependent care costs. Team members may enroll as a new hire and re-enroll each year during the open enrollment period.
