For over half a century, Dover Federal Credit Union has been a premier financial partner, providing economic empowerment for Delaware residents and businesses.  As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, we are committed to empowering our communities through affordable checking, savings, and lending solutions.  This includes providing comprehensive financial education for all age groups and ensuring accessible financial services for individuals and small businesses.

Recognized as a First State Favorite Credit Union, Dover Federal Credit Union contributes to providing financial strength and stability for the residents within the state, reflected in our efforts to educate and inspire members along their financial journey.

Dover Federal Credit Union was first chartered in 1958 by a handful of Air Force and civilian workers at Dover Air Force Base. Their goal was to create a member-owned financial cooperative, democratically controlled by its members and operated to promote thrift, provide credit at competitive rates, and provide other financial services to its members. From the past to the present, our mission guides us to empower our communities by educating and inspiring members along their financial journey through equitable financial services.
