Exciting Upgrades to Online Banking

The update to online banking will occur on the morning of June 24, 2024.

For users who rely on facial recognition to access their accounts, we encourage you to notate your username. This will allow you to enter your credentials into the updated login without having to go through the multifactor authentification to reset your username/password in the event you forget it.

At the login box, select [Trouble signing in]. This will prompt you to get assistance if you have forgotten your password or username. Follow the prompts to validate your information and reset your credentials.

Yes, users who do not have automatic updates will receive a prompt at the time of log-in to update the app. The Dover Federal mobile app will need to be re-installed.

However, users who have automatic updates turned on for your mobile device will not need to re-install the app. 

Apple (iOS)

To receive the update for an Apple (iOS) device, you may set up automatic updates by:

1. Opening the Settings app on the iOS device
2. Tap on App Store
3. Toggle on App Updates to turn on automatic app updates

If you do not want automatic updates turned on, you may manually update the app by:

1. Opening the App Store on the iOS device
2. Tap the user profile icon in the upper right corner
3. Scroll down to Available Updates
4. Tap ‘update’ next to the DFCU application to update only our app.

Android

To receive the update for an Android device, you may set up automatic updates by:

1. Opening the Google Play Store on the Android device
2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the upper-left corner of the screen
3. Tap Settings
4. Tap Auto-update apps
5. A pop-up window will ask you to select the your auto-update preference, then select do.

If you do not want automatic updates turned on, you may manually update the app by:

1. Opening the Google Play Store on the Android device
2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the upper-left corner of the screen
3. Tap My apps & games
4. Tap the DFCU application to start the update

1. From a user experience perspective, the layout will have some nice updates:
   • A left/right hand mode is available in mobile.
   • The logout button displays an animated image.  This can be turned on/off by the user.
   • Users will have the ability to customize the light/dark mode on their screen.
      
2. The left menu has been replaced by a drawer of options that displays at the bottom of the app.  When the drawer is displayed, the user can select MORE to display the pop-up menu.
    
3. A toggle has been added to show or hide the account number(s).
    
4. On the accounts page, a refresh button is displayed. This will refresh all the shares/loans from the core.
    
5. The download option for Quicken and QuickBooks has been moved from the bottom of the page to the top.
    
6. Search will allow the user to search Transaction History for all shares and loans at the same time.
    
7. The Account page view can be displayed as a list or as cards . The selection will be saved when the user logs out.
